A deal reached with Park Place Entertainment and the St. Regis Mohawks could bring $15 million into Sullivan County in upstate New York.

The Indians would like the open a casino at Kutsher's Sports Academy in the Catskill Mountains. The tax-free casino would sell only alcohol and cigarettes, but not tax-free gasoline.

The Mohawks would build a $50 million parking garage off their land that will be on the tax rolls. A land claim must first be settled with New York State before a gaming compact can be signed.
