NEW HAMPSHIRE MAN PROMOTES NEW POKER MACHINE

Aug 13, 2001 9:30 PM

A New Hampshire man hopes that a new video poker machine concept will be allowed in a state that currently outlaws video gambling.

Dick Anagnost, among 350 stockholders of the Las Vegas-based Fortune Entertainment Corp., is behind the company's movement to market innovative new gaming devices to Indian tribal casinos.

The Fortune Poker system is described as an "interactive, progressive, tournament video terminal poker game" that allows the player to compete against a single machine or against other players on similar terminals.
