Welcome to our inaugural Slam Bang Bingo report. The game of Bingo has really taken off in Las Vegas in recent years. And GamingToday will provide our readers with the latest and best information on this popular game.

Over the weeks ahead, we will report on the various bingo offerings around town, the art of selecting bingo cards, money management, using systems, calculating odds, improving your game strategy, stacking the odds in your favor and much, much more.

This week, we cover a few bingo basics and define a few terms ”” you need to know the bingo lingo!

Most of the bingo action in town takes place at the locals casinos: Station Casinos, Coast Resorts, Arizona Charlie’s, Castaways, Ellis Island, Jerry’s Nugget and Sam’s Town, to name a few (see list).

Typically, the casino offers a full day of bingo sessions, starting from about 9 a.m. and running to 11 p.m. Bingo games cost anywhere from $3 to $10 to $20 and more. Games vary, as do the amenities.

The Suncoast, for instance, offers eight Cashball Jackpots in addition to its regular Bingo Plus games. Free drinks are dispensed throughout the day, and players at the morning session get free donuts.

We’ll have a lot more next week on the different types of games, including those juicy progressives that are paying off in big numbers. But for now, here’s a quick glossary so you’re able to speak the language:
