TUNICA CASINO ANNOUNCES ADJUSTMENT STATEMENT

Aug 16, 2001 8:42 PM

Hollywood Casino Corporation announced that revenues for its Tunica casino were reduced by $2.2 million for the first six months of 2001.

The figures were released after certain slot machines used a ticket printing system that posted an overstatement of revenues for the first three and six months this year.

The problem occurred when patrons cashed out gaming credits from slot machines and used the ticket printing system. Tickets were then inserted and credits played on different slot machines.
