Services for Christine Jaggers

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday for Christine Jaggers who died Saturday at home. The service will be held at the Guardian Angel Cathedral just off the Strip near the Desert Inn resort.

Mrs. Jaggers was 48 and the wife of long-time casino executive Jon Jaggers, executive vice president of casino operations at Caesars Palace. She was the daughter of Bob and Yvette Maheu.

Jon and Christine had been married 30 years. They met in Las Vegas when they were both students at Gorman High School.

Mrs. Jaggers was born in Washington, D.C., and grew up in the Pacific Palisades area of California before moving to Las Vegas.

“She was a dear friend of mine and Debbie,” Terry Lanni, MGM MIRAGE chief, told GamingToday. “My heart goes out to Jon and the family.”

Besides Jon, her immediate family included the couple’s four children, Yvette, 24; Tommy, 23; Jimmy, 22; and Bobby, 19.
