Taking care of gaming business

Nearly every major publicly-traded gaming company will be making presentations at the “Financial Updates” session to be conducted at the Global Gaming Expo set for Oct. 1-3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Staging the events will be three of Wall Street’s best known analysts: Jason Ader, senior managing director for Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc.; Steve Kent, vice president and senior equity gaming analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co., and John Kempf, vice president and senior high yield gaming analyst, also for Goldman Sachs.

The presentations will be made each morning of the three days, with some sessions offering dual seminars.

Scheduled to present are: (Monday) GTECH Corp. (GTK), Pinnacle Entertainment Inc. (PNK), Hollywood Casino (HWD), Argosy Gaming Company (AGY), Trump Hotels (DJT), Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ARLUF), International Game Technology (IGT), Magna Entertainment Corp. (MIEC), and The Venetian.

(Tuesday): MGM MIRAGE Inc. (MGG), Aztar Corp. (AZR), Harrah’s Entertainment Inc. (HET), Mandalay Resort Group (MBG), Boyd Gaming (BYD), Horseshoe Gaming Holding, Ameristar Casinos (ASCA), Shuffle Master (SHFL), Alliance Gaming Corp. (ALLY), Acres Gaming (AGAM), WMS Gaming (WMS), Churchill Downs (CHDN).

(Wednesday): Riviera Holdings Corp. (RIV), Anchor Gaming (SLOT), Isle of Capri Casinos (ISLE), Park Place Entertainment (PPE), Penn National Gaming (PENN), Station Casinos Inc. (STN), Majestic Star Casinos, Mikohn Gaming (MIKN), Sun International Hotels (SIH), and Scientific Games Inc. (SGM).

The presentations will conclude each day prior to the opening of the exhibition floor where designers and manufacturers will be displaying their newest creations.
