Yanks, Braves would make nice Series

The major league playoffs are entering the second round of games in the National League where the Atlanta Braves and Arizona Diamondbacks meet for the right to go to the World Series.

In the American League, everything is up in the air pending the outcome of Monday’s game where Seattle meets Cleveland and the Yankees host Oakland. The winners meet the NL victors in the World Series.

The A’s were ahead 2-0 in games thinking all they had to do was show up at home and become champs. It didn’t quite work out that way. The Yankees are a tough team to tie down when the rope is short.

New York and Atlanta would make a very nice World Series present for the network. In the meantime, there is a playoff for that right.
