Green Valley Ranch preps for opening

Currently under construction, Green Valley Ranch Station Casino is now taking room reservations for occupancy beginning in mid-December. Room rates will range from $99 to $299.

The first-class accommodations include 45 suites, 201 oversized guest rooms and a 2000-square-foot Presidential Suite. Each room is equipped with a goose down comforter, plush terry robes, a safe and mini bar. Also part of the amenities is 24-hour concierge service.

Green Valley Ranch is located at Interstate 215 and Green Valley Parkway. The property is co-owned by Station Casinos and GCR Gaming, a company owned by American Nevada Corporation.

The $300 million site spans 40 acres of land, and includes an 80,000-square-foot casino with 2,550 slot and video gaming machines, 53 gaming tables and a 170-seat race and sports book.

Other amenities include seven restaurants that include popular restaurateurs Il Fornaio, BullShrimp and Border Grill. Diners can also choose from six quick-service food outlets, four bars, including Randy Gerber’s Whiskey Sky.

Among the leisure time amenities will be a 10,000-square-foot European day spa, three acres of vineyards, a 10-screen movie theater, two tennis courts and 11,000 square feet of meeting, banquet and convention space.

Station Casinos owns and operates the Palace Station, Boulder Station, Texas Station, Sunset Station, Santa Fe Station, Fiesta, The Reserve, Wild Wild West, and owns 50 percent of Barley’s in Henderson.
