Kostya Tszyu, a $2.60 underdog, knocked out IBF junior welterweight champion Zab Judah at 2:59 of the second round to unify the 140-pound division Saturday night at MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Tszyu, the WBA and WBC champion in that division, was staggered in the first round before posting the stunning victory.

Referee Jay Nady stopped the bout one second before the bell was scheduled to sound, determining that Judah was able to continue. The decision set off a near-riot in the ring with Judah throwing a chair and attempting to get at the referee.
