Mandalay Bay Resorts recently introduced its the One Club, the first players’ club on the Las Vegas Strip that allows multi-property accumulation and redemption of cash and comp dollars ”” all in real time. The One Club casinos include Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur, Monte Carlo and Circus Circus in Las Vegas, and the Colorado Belle and Edgewater in Laughlin.

“The concept of this new players club was to bring something to the Las Vegas Strip that had never been offered before,” said John Marz, senior vice president of Mandalay Bay Marketing and Events. “The One Club is the only players club on the Las Vegas Strip that allows a member to play at any of our One Club casinos, and be able to immediately redeem and use their accumulated cash or comp dollars, with absolutely no lag time. This means we can literally have a customer’s account accessible to seven different casinos within a matter of seconds.

“As an example,” Marz continued, “a One Club member can earn rewards while playing at, say, Excalibur, yet redeem those rewards to see Blue Man Group at the Luxor or to dine at 3950 at Mandalay Bay. We’ve set a new standard in terms of players clubs on the Las Vegas Strip.”

Membership in the One Club is free and can be used at Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur, Monte Carlo and Circus Circus in Las Vegas and the Edgewater and Colorado Belle in Laughlin. Members can check their account balances online at {myoneclub.com}. The company hopes to have five more properties linked to the system by June 2002.
