WBC and IBF heavyweight champion Hasim Rahman remains an underdog in defense of his title but the gap continues to close.

Former champion Lennox Lewis is a $2.50 favorite at Mandalay Bay to retake the title. The bout takes place tonight at the Mandalay Bay Events Center.

Rahman, who won the belts with a fifth round knockout of Lewis last April, has seen his price reduced from $2.30 to $2.10 since Thursday at the Las Vegas megaresort.

"This is surprising since most of the big money was expected to go toward Lewis," said Coleen Logsdon, race and sports book manager at Mandalay Bay. "That hasn't been the case, but things could change before the fight."
