In frustration, California covers

California, knowing it’s just about impossible to overtake Duke in the Dirty Dozen poll, did the unthinkable.

The Golden Bears covered!

The Bears went over to the dark side and hung around the whole game with Stanford to easily cover the 24-point spread.

Duke did its part, as usual, to remain in the top spot after a lopsided loss both straight-up and against the spread at North Carolina.

The Blue Devils are idle, with just one final obstacle left toward a second consecutive winless season. That should come in two weeks against the Clemson Tigers.

However, Dozen fans do have a wonderful matchup this week with Cal heading East to face Rutgers. One could argue that Rutgers has been the worst team over the past three weeks. This should be brutal to watch. Kudos to Tulsa at 0-9 ATS.
