Paul Anka takes the stage at The Mirage

Anka’s musical compositions are internationally known and have been recorded by the greatest names in the entertainment industry. He has achieved unprecedented success in every venue: stage, screen, television, and recording. Having written such classics as “My Way” for Frank Sinatra, “She’s a Lady” for Tom Jones and the theme from “The Tonight Show” for Johnny Carson, Anka’s career spans over five decades of timeless music credits for writing, singing and composing. He recently set a milestone by being the only artist to have a record on Billboard’s Top 50 charts for five consecutive decades.

At 16, Anka enjoyed his first taste of success with his hit song, “Diana.” Over 40 years later, this song is still a favorite among fans. Before he turned 18, Anka had five Top-20 hits including “Put Your Head On My Shoulder,” “Lonely Boy” and “Puppy Love.” Now in his sixties and more than 900 songs to his credit, he revels in his timeless musical career as he celebrates the success of his 125th album Anka Live 2000.
