Analyst William Schmitt of CIBC World Markets isn't alarmed over the 6.2% November decline in Atlantic City's table game revenue.

The primary reason, Schmitt said, is the 16.3% decline in the number of table games "as the operators are moving to a more slot-driven market."

Schmitt added that he was "encouraged" that the amount wagered at table games declined only 11.6%. The decline "indicates a more efficient casino floor layout," he said.
