One of the most treasured vocal stylists, Natalie Cole, returns to Paris Las Vegas Friday through Sunday at 9 p.m. For tickets, call (702) 946-4567 or (877) 374-7469.

With albums such as Unforgettable”¦With Love and Stardust, Cole has accomplished something most artists would fear to attempt; rather than riding the rollercoaster that is the taste of the general public, she has chosen to keep alive a musical tradition that began with such legends as Ella Fitzgerald and her own father, Nat “King” Cole.

During the 1970s, albums such as Inseparable, Natalie and I Love You So, spawned five No. 1 R&B hits. Later, she would score hits with “Jump Start,” “I Live for Your Love” and “Pink Cadillac” (a cover of the Bruce Springsteen classic). It was also in 1987 that Cole foreshadowed a redirection of her musical style with a cover of her father’s 1957 hit “When I Fall In Love.”

Unforgettable”¦With Love was released in 1991 and, earned her seven Grammy awards.

Her resume now boasts eight Grammys, eight gold albums and three platinum albums. Natalie Cole’s career has grown to a beguiling mix of R&B/soul, pop, gospel and adult contemporary, which has created a loyal and diversified following for the talented singer.
