The collapse of business at the Aladdin hotel has had a profound impact on London Clubs International.

LCU reported a pre-tax loss of $114.5 million in pound sterling, compared to a profit of $803,000 at this time last year.

The Aladdin filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in October. LCI said that despite the initial impact of the U.S. terrorist attacks, overall trading levels at its London casinos since late September have exceeded last year's figures.
