Welcome to the New Year of Bingo for 2002 in Las Vegas!  It looks like it’s going to be an exciting year for Bingo players at all of the halls throughout the valley.  We’ve had some questions over the past few weeks about TED’s, GTI’s, Hot Ball, Progressives, Validation, Fortunet and Bonanza’s that we hope to address in future articles, but this week we’ll look at some of the bingo promotions and special values you can find for January.

As always, the holidays usually provide for some of the best Bingo action and a chance to pick up some free gifts for your play at the same time. Since the New Year holiday is over, the only other major holiday date in January is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, on Monday, January 21. Here’s a run down on some of gifts and specials running that weekend. (Note: Some rooms will honor the holiday on Saturday, January19 or Sunday, January 20, as listed below.)

Silver Nugget: Saturday, January 19: Pick up a free logo T-shirt at the 7 p.m. only session, the last of the collector series T-shirts, while supplies last with minimum buy-in.

Station Casino’s: (All-Palace, Santa Fe, Texas, Boulder, & Sunset) On Sunday, January 20, get a free Pocket Radio/Flashlight with earphone with a minimum buy-in at all sessions while supplies last. One per person per session.

Arizona Charlie’s: (West location on Decatur only, although a new Bingo hall is currently under construction at the Eastside location on Boulder Highway,) All single game winners at all sessions on Monday, January 21, receive an Arizona Charlie’s satin or denim logo jacket, (subject to availability, but either is very nice,) at all sessions, all day with minimum buy-in.

Castaways: Receive a free $4 Bingo pack with any regular Bingo buy-in on Monday, January 21.  Available at all sessions all day.

Other valuable promotions and specials this month include: Triple Bingo points at every session, everyday at both the Suncoast and the Gold Coast.  Ten times Bingo points continue at Terrible’s for all sessions throughout the entire month of January, as well as free packs everyday at every session except Wednesdays.  Sam’s Town serves a free continental breakfast everyday at the 9 a.m. sessions. Over at the Plaza, downtown, get a free $5 bonus pack with any regular Bingo buy-in and double pay on TED’s, (The Electronic Dauber,) and GTI’s, (Game Tech International,) computer Bingo at the 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. sessions daily.

Bingo World 2002, an industry trade show, will be held at the Riviera on March 5-7, where all the latest gizmos and new products are presented. We’ll keep you up to date on that one and report it all here to you.  Should be a fun year for Bingo players. Enjoy!

Until next time”¦May you all shout, “B-I-N-G-O!”
