by Mark Mayer | If you’re looking for futures odds on Kevin Anderson, forget it. He wasn’t even officially in the tourney, having to play a qualifying event here just to gain an opening round entry. All the South African has done is reach Sunday’s final at the Darling Center without dropping a set. His American opponent, Sam Querrey, was a distant 20-1 at the Hilton for backers who believed in miracles. This is the first-ever ATP Tour final for each. The tourney this year is more known for the list of falling seeds. Fernando Gonzalez was the 9-2 betting favorite, followed by Marcos Baghdatis (5-1) and defending champ Lleyton Hewitt (7-1).
