Lady Luck moves one step closer to becoming downtown’s first timeshare resort this week. The Isle of Capri-owned hotel casino is expected to win approval from city planning commissioners to convert its 387-room West Tower into timeshares. That’s a lot of timeshares in one spot!
“The folks downtown think they can handle it,” said an insider. “The luxury suites on the top (25th) floor won’t change, though, at least for now.”
Nor will the rest of Lady Luck, which will maintain its casino operations and 405 other guest rooms in its main hotel tower.
