An ESPN report claims that heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis will meet Mike Tyson in a 12-round title bout April 6 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
That is, if Tyson doesn't blow it.
Tyson caused another rumble in his checkered career by charging Lewis at a news conference in New York that was supposed to deal with a possible title fight.
Nobody was hurt in the skirmish, which lasted nearly 10 minutes. Lewis called off the news conference, while Tyson continued his verbal barrage against members of the media.
Tyson's action could threaten his attempt to regain his licensing in the State of Nevada that would clear the way for a fight at MGM. There allegedly is a clause that calls for a rematch to be held in October at another site in the U.S.
