The St. Louis Rams can enter Super Bowl XXXVI Sunday with the knowledge that they are already favored for next year's NFL title game.
Las Vegas Sports Consultants opened the Rams at 5-2 odds to capture the 2003 Super Bowl in San Diego. Pittsburgh was the second choice at 6-1, followed by Philadelphia (8-1), Oakland (10-1) and Indianapolis (10-1).
The New England Patriots, this year's Super Bowl opponent for the Rams, are tied for the eighth top selection at 15-1 with Green Bay, Chicago, Miami, Baltimore and Tennessee.
San Francisco and Denver (each 12-1) are also ahead of New England. Super Bowl host San Diego is 50-1. The expansion Houston Texans are the longest shot on the board at 200-1.
