Boulder Station has been nominated for the 2001 Casino of the Year, by the Academy of Country Music. The number of country music entertainers booked by the hotel/casino and the quality of the facility and staff were cited as reasons Boulder Station was selected for this honor.

When the Academy mentions the quality and number of entertainers, it has in mind performers like Loretta Lynn, Ronnie Milsap and Merle Haggard ”” all of whom have performed at Boulder Station.

Boulder Station is one of 11 casinos nominated for this national award, and one of only three in Las Vegas. The winner will be announced at the 37th Academy of Country Music Awards ceremony, Tuesday May 21, on CBS. Boulder Station received the award in 1999 and sister property Sunset Station Hotel & Casino received a nomination for 2000.
