Station Casinos has launched a new Boarding Pass benefit in which members are given free credits to use in nearly 90 percent of Stations’ 15,000-plus slot and video poker machines.

The Boarding Pass bonus is called Xtra “Play Cash” and is available only through Stations’ slot club.

“With Xtra ”˜Play Cash’ we can award our players free slot play at most of their favorite slot and video poker games,” said Stephen Cavallaro, Stations’ chief operating officer. “When they play with Xtra ”˜Play Cash’ they’re playing on the house’s money and they get to play longer, which is what they’ve told us they would like.”

Cavallaro added that Xtra “Play Cash” is the first of several bonus benefits and promotions that will be made available to Boarding Pass club members.

“We will offer things like bonus awards for play, mystery awards and ”˜welcome back’ credits on a future visit,” Cavallaro said.

The new Xtra “Play Cash” benefit is built into a new slot technology that is at once convenient and user-friendly. Members get a personalized letter each month that provides them the amount of Xtra “Play Cash” they have available and when it can be used. Unlike other promotions, there are no coupons to redeem or lines to stand in.

Instead, the club member inserts her card into the Boarding Pass reader on the machine, enters her personal identification number (PIN) and can begin playing her free credits.

Xtra “Play Cash” is the latest benefit from Stations’ Boarding Pass Rewards. Club member points are redeemable in Station restaurants, theaters, showrooms, bowling alleys, day-care centers, gift shops and more, and can be accessed in kiosks located throughout the casinos. The player simply inserts a Boarding Pass card, determines what she wants to do and the “comp” prints out.
