Bingo Expo is industry’s largest

The industry’s largest Bingo Expo and Conference is slated to run Tuesday through Thursday at the Riviera.

The sixth annual exposition, trade show and conference will feature more than 60 vendors. In addition, dozens of industry experts will participate in 15 educational seminars as part of an exceptional presentation of issues about the current and future state of the industry.

Among the topics to be covered are Tribal Bingo ”” how Class 2 games are increasingly the player’s alternative in the casino; surveying the political landscape; who are the tribes friends in government.

The state of charity bingo: prizes versus promotions, regulatory changes and policies.

Bingo audit and security: security standards for bingo facilities, training bingo personnel, solving bingo fraud cases.

Marketing bingo through television, newspaper and the Internet; player tracking and frequent player points and demographics.

Human resources: building attitudes, keeping a solid customer base; how to counter negative attitudes among the work force; how to respond when customers indicate they need help.
