Grammy nominated R&B legends, The Isley Brothers, will perform two shows at Sam’s Town Live Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.

Born in Cincinnati and raised in a household steeped in gospel music, The Isley Brothers began performing together in the 1950s as teenagers. They first made waves in the music industry in 1959 with "Shout," but didn’t fully break through until 1962 with the Top 20 hit "Twist and Shout."

Their career was cemented with "It’s Your Thing," which topped R&B charts, ascended to No. 2 on the Top 40, sold five million copies and won a Grammy Award for "Best R&B Vocal Performance."

The Isley Brothers can claim 23 gold, platinum and multi-platinum albums, such as "The Heat is On," "Between the Sheets" and "Mission to Please." Their latest album, "Eternal," contains songs such as "Contagious," "Said Enough," "Secret Lover," and "Move Your Body," and collaborations with R&B greats such as R. Kelly and Jill Scott.
