“And the hits just keep on comin’!” Sure enough, we have even more great specials and deals this week in this never-ending town of promotions, promotions, promotions!

One of the most popular places to enjoy St. Patrick’s Day in Las Vegas is downtown at Fitzgeralds. The Irish-themed casino hotel will be a hotbed of activity again this year with a weekend celebration from March 15 through the 17. Free beads and stovepipe hats will be given out free to patrons at various times throughout the weekend, and green draft beer will be sold for a buck a glass. Traditional Irish food favorites including Corned Beef and Cabbage and Irish Stew will be served at special prices in all the restaurants too.

Another late-night steak special surfaced this week, at a great Strip property, no less! The Café Lago, (24 hour coffee shop,) at Caesars Palace serves an 8 ounce grilled NY Steak special from midnight to 5 a.m. nightly. The price comes in at a cheap-lover’s delight. Just $7.99, but it’s not on the menu and you’ll need to ask your server for it. The dinner deal includes bread and butter, baked potato and the vegetable of the day.

Arizona Charlie’s Sourdough Café special for the month of March is Fish & Chips served with Cole slaw for a paltry $3.99. Since this is a 24-hour coffee shop restaurant, you can enjoy it anytime you feel hungry at either the Decatur or Boulder Highway location. For those more inclined for a cocktail rather than a meal, both Charlie’s are offering 99-cent well drinks and domestic beer at all casino bars this month too. (By the way, did you know that they run a free shuttle bus to their sister property, the Stratosphere, on the Strip?)

For additional “cheapo” drinks this month, the Fiesta Rancho is serving 50 cent Miller Lite Draft beer in the Cabo Lounge or Blue Agave through April 1.  Fiesta Henderson has Industry Night on Wednesdays and serves $1 drinks, food specials, free entertainment and even gives out a free late-night breakfast coupon to those attending.

For a totally free show this month, Nevada locals with proper ID can see Breck Wall’s “Best of Bottoms Up” at the Flamingo. No coupon is needed and there is nothing to buy. Simply show your local ID at the showroom entrance for free admission. There are two shows daily at 2 and 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. No shows on Sunday. It’s a fun afternoon at Las Vegas’ only topless afternoon show. The price sure is right!

Finally, for buffet lovers, Silverton Hotel Casino still has their German Buffet every Tuesday from 4:30 to 9 p.m. for $10.99. The special buffet comes complete with a complimentary St. Pauli’s Girl Beer to boot and some authentic German music by the Dummkopf’s. If German’s not your style, try the new Garduno’s Sunday Mexican Margarita Brunch at the Palms. It’s all-you-can-eat Mexican favorites, (including the Margarita’s,) served from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the “Si-Si” price of $11.99! Remember, Sundays only on that one.

Until next week”¦Eat well, play well, stay well!
