Trainer Bob Baffert told GamingToday that 2-year-old filly champion Indian Blessing would receive a break and possibly miss the Kentucky Oaks on May 2.
Indian Blessing suffered her first defeat in the Fair Grounds Oaks this past Saturday as the 3-10 favorite. She was the 4-1 favorite in the second leg of the Churchill Downs Kentucky Oaks future book wagering pool.
Indian Blessing was listed at 200-1 at the Las Vegas Hilton SuperBook to win the Kentucky Derby. – Ed Golden
