Arizona Charlie’s West: Win & Quinn contest features $800 added money to supplement the entry pool. Cost is $10 and requires picking Âí­Santa Anita horses.  AC East contest set for June.

Excalibur: For a $10 entry fee, take a shot at winning $2,000 in cash prizes. Contest requires picking Santa Anita card. Dinner and cash prizes are raffled after every race.

Poker Palace: Free contest held Wednesday through Sunday has $1,000 aggregate pool; players select from head-to-head match-ups (five matches a day). Same Thurs and Fri.

Texas Station: Players vie for a share of collected entries ($10 fee), and a progressive jackpot based on scoring that day’s designated point scores; plus $100 to the player leading the contest after the fifth race. Same Thurs and Fri.


Coast Resorts ”” Gold Coast, The Orleans, Suncoast, Barbary Coast: King of the Hill  ($10 entry requires picking the first five races at Santa Anita. Half the prize pool is paid based on pari-mutuel payoffs. Other half based on consistency. If no one claims the pot, half is paid to players coming closest. Balance carried to next contest.


Binion’s Horseshoe: The ’Shoe Q contest ($10 entry) requires picking on the Santa Anita card; $500 is added to all entry fees. Free drawings are held for $100 in pari-mutuel bets.

Las Vegas Hilton: Free contest offers $1,000 Âí­aggregate to winner.

Santa Fe Station: Free contest offers $1,000 in prize money to contestants who wager on the last five races at Santa Anita.

Sunset Station: Win & In the Money Contest ($10 entry) features $1,000 cash awarded to highest combined mutuels; collected entrée fees pay off the In the Money portion of the contest.

Union Plaza: Similar to Coast Resorts contest (free) based on last five races at Santa Anita; Âí­total of $500 awarded for highest mutuels, and $500 awarded for picking the most winners.


Sam’s Town: Free and easy contest based on the last three races at Golden Gate and last three races at Santa Anita with $1,000 prize pool.

Poker Palace: Same as Wednesday, but with $100 bonus for going 5-0. Similar rules Sunday.


Fiesta Rancho: The Big Five Pony Express Contest (free) is based on five selected races with top 10 finishers winning prizes. Entrants must have an Amigo Club Player’s card.
