Las Vegas poker bargains and promotions

It was just a week or two ago I covered the new Caesars Entertainment’s Mega Beat Progressive Poker Jackpots. Players in poker rooms across Las Vegas celebrated as Scott Rosen beat Alex Adams’ quad queens with a queen high straight flush of hearts inside the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino poker room.

With that hand, Rosen had hit Caesars Entertainment’s Mega Beat jackpot, which awards not only the losing and winning hand but all players actively playing in any of the participating CE poker rooms.

Adams’ great hand being beat by Rosen’s even better hand entitled all 218 players in Harrah’s Las Vegas, The Quad Resort & Casino, Flamingo Las Vegas, Bally’s Las Vegas, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Caesars Palace and Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino poker rooms to split $672,420.25.

Adams, having the losing hand, won $136,675, and winner Rosen took home $69,401. All other players received $2,159 each.

Caesars Entertainment announced the introduction of the Mega Beat jackpot to the Las Vegas poker market at the beginning of 2013. With a progressive model the jackpot has the potential to climb to more than $1 million, and could potentially be one of the largest promotional poker jackpots in the casino entertainment industry.

This multi-casino promotion offers poker players of all skill levels the opportunity to play for a chance at life-changing money.

Launched in 2007 on the East Coast by Lauren Failla, the HHPT aims to change the ever-growing world of poker by empowering women to become card-playing champions. The Tour also provides a competitive environment where women can explore, develop and continue growing to learn top strategies and perfect their “A” game.
