There are no major holidays this month, which are usually great days to cash in some extra bingo goodies and gifts. However, bingo players won’t be disappointed with still plenty of new opportunities and exciting progressives too.

The newest entry into the Las Vegas bingo scene is the Palms. They have introduced bingo to the property with two special dates to play this month, beginning with four sessions today, (April 9) and another on Tuesday, April 23. Session times are 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on both days. Players at each session will receive a free dauber bag and dauber, along with $5 in free slot play. If you’re a new member to the slot club, you’ll also receive a 1,000 point bonus just for enrolling. T.E.D. specials will be available for playing electronic bingo too. The 9 p.m. sessions feature 1st, 2nd and 3rd chance coveralls all at $1,000 each.

Both Fiestas’ Rancho and Henderson have added linked Grande Bingo Progressive coverall games that start out at $25,000. One game is played at each of the eight daily sessions. If you have paid the $1 extra per card and hit the coverall within the specified number, (starting at 46 and increasing weekly until won,) you win the progressive jackpot! A $400 consolation prize is offered at every session if the giant jackpot isn’t hit at either location during the session.

For players who still love to get a gift when playing bingo, Station Casino’s, (Palace, Boulder, Texas, Sunset and Santa Fe,) has a nice looking check book cover giveaway just in time for Tax Day! On Sunday, April 14, pick up your bonus gift at all sessions, while supplies last, with a minimum bingo buy-in. All Stations are also giving 10 points for every dollar spent in bingo this month and Sunset has one additional gift giveaway on Sunday, April 21. Receive a free “Best of Las Vegas” T-shirt at all sessions. Same limited quantities and minimum buy-in requirement disclaimers apply.

The Suncoast and Gold Coast continue to offer triple points at every bingo session, every day. Looks like this will continue to be an ongoing promotion with Coasts since they’ve offered triple points since this past December. Also “Crazy ”˜4’ Coveralls” will be the highlight of the 7 and 9 p.m. sessions on Fridays and Saturdays during April. Four guaranteed $1,000 coveralls are offered at each of those sessions from the first coverall hit through the fourth chance coverall. Nice! (I never can seem to hit the first coverall, but I like my chances with three more additional tries!)

Terrible’s has 10 times points at every bingo session during April, and the first in a series of stuffed bear giveaways begins April 30.

Until next time”¦May you all shout “B-I-N-G-O!”
