Chicago Rush at Grand Rapids Rampage: Chicago hits the road for the first time and takes a step down in competition, after SJ and Philly, at Grand Rapids (4-12, 7-9 ATS LY) in this Central Division game. The Rush (13-5, 12-4-2) lost star WR Sippio to the Chiefs (NFL) but routed the Rampage 77-54 and 55-32 the last two meetings. RUSH -9.

Arizona Rattlers at San Jose SaberCats: AFL champion SaberCats (16-2, 14-4-1) host Rattlers in this Western Division tilt. Arizona, which upset host Utah in opener, much improved with addition of WR Burley but SJ (+15.5 point differential LY) is dominant at home (10-0) and waxed ‘Zona, 66-26 in this spot in 2007. SABERCATS -12.

Colorado Crush at Dallas Desperados: (ESPN2) The Baby Cowboys are one of the AFL’s elite and with Dolezel can beat anyone, anywhere, anytime. The problem here is that Dolezel is out with a shoulder injury and Chris Sanders is in his stead. Last season Dallas (15-2, 10-7) creamed the Crush, 77-58, an outcome likely similar to this St. Paddy’s tussle. Elway’s boys were average last year ATS (9-10) as well as SU (9-9) … And Dallas is closer to Dublin than Denver by 879 miles. DESPERADOS -10.
