Veteran casino executive
Dan Chandler has taken a new assignment with Bill Wortman and Bill Paulos at
Millennium Management. He will serve as representative for the company, and was
chosen for his wide experience in the casino and gaming business.
Chandler has made
several stops along the way. His longest reign was at Caesars Palace, at which
he worked for several years.
“I’m not good at
sliding into the bases anymore, but I sure know how to get to home plate,”
Chandler said. “This job will be it for me. It’s a good way to end a
successful career with some great guys.”
Millennium Management recently announced it was building the new Cannery Casino in North Las Vegas, and manages the Rampart Casino at J.W. Marriott Hotel (the former Regent in Summerlin). They also operate the Greektown Casino in Detroit, and Wortman owns the Nevada Palace in Henderson.
