Cubs at Brewers: The Cubs were swept by Milwaukee in Chicago, but going with Kerry Wood and Jon Lieber and against Jason Bere.

Pirates at Astros: The Bucs gave Houston fits in Pittsburgh, winning two of three. Houston will sweep at Astros Field with Shane Reynolds leading the way.

Reds at Cards: The Reds blew an 8-0 lead to St. Louis at home last week. We favor Darryl Kile and Bud Smith in the rematch at Busch.

Braves at Rockies: The Rockies have improved of late. Pitchers are holding opponents in check. Atlanta will have problems. Going against Tom Glavine and Greg Maddux.

Phils at D’backs: Arizona lucky to escape with one win in its three-game visit to Philly. Brandon Duckworth is the Phils best hope.

Mets at Padres: Al Leiter could stop the Mets bleeding and Steve Trachsel figures to pick up the slack.

Marlins at Giants: The Marlins are red hot, but will have problems with SF. Going with Livan Hernandez and Russ Ortiz to win a couple.

Expos at Dodgers: L.A. with Kevin Brown at home will be tough to beat, along with Japanese phenom Ishii.

M’s at Red Sox: Pedro was the savior at Safeco Field and should do so again at Fenway. Seattle should win the rest.

Royals at Indians: Going against C.C. Sabathia and Chuck Finley. Double play on Royals ace Paul Byrd.

Twins at Yanks: Ted Lilly and Mike Mussina should come through for New York.

A’s at Jays: Second-line Oakland hurlers don’t stand much chance. Going against Cory Lidle and Erik Hiljus.

D’Rays at Orioles: Going with D’Rays and pitchers Joe Kennedy and Wilson Alvarez.

Rangers at Tigers: Texas should make chop meat of the Tigers. Detroit is a bad team and falls to Kenny Rogers and Dave Burba.

Angels at ChiSox: Anaheim pounded Chicago last week. The Sox, steaming for revenge, will win two with Jon Garland and Danny Wright.
