National Airlines expands service

National Airlines announced the return of service to Washington, DC on August 1, 2002 with one daily nonstop roundtrip between Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Las Vegas. At that time, the Las Vegas-based carrier will begin new service at Washington Dulles International Airport with one daily nonstop roundtrip to Las Vegas as well. The carrier will also add a second roundtrip at Dulles Airport on August 28, 2002. With three daily nonstops to the Washington airports, National will offer more nonstop seats than any other airline from these Washington airports to Las Vegas.

National is also offering members of its frequent flyer program, National Comps, Double Points for tickets purchased by June 30, for travel to or from either Washington area airport. Travelers can join the frequent flyer program online at nationalairlines.com or by obtaining an application at any National Airlines ticket counter.

National Airlines also announced it will initiate new service at Reno/Tahoe International Airport on October 3, 2002 with four daily nonstop roundtrips from its Las Vegas hub. Reno will be the 14th airport served by National. In addition, National announced that it will add a third daily nonstop roundtrip between Miami and Las Vegas on November 21, 2002. The Las Vegas-based carrier will begin new service at Seattle on May 23 with three daily nonstop roundtrips to its hub, as well as add a fourth daily roundtrip to Dallas/Ft. Worth.
