Signed, Sealed, Delivered at the Showroom in The Venetian

The theatrical concert production, Signed, Sealed, Delivered, a celebration of Stevie Wonder at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino, brings to Las Vegas director and vocal phenomenon Billy Porter and a talented, award-winning production and creative team. Signed, Sealed, Delivered celebrates the music of Stevie Wonder and will commence performances on Saturday.

A Pittsburgh native, Billy Porter, director and co-creator of Signed, Sealed, Delivered is no stranger to show business. His impressive credits range from film and television to Broadway. Porter has shared the stage with legendary performers including Aretha Franklin and has performed with the Philly Pops Orchestra and New York Pops Symphony Orchestra among others. Porter’s solo CD Untitled garnered him rave reviews from critics all over the world. Porter is currently working on his sophomore CD project.

Billy Porter brings with him a talented production and creative team which includes: musical director Stephen Oremus, who served as music supervisor/orchestrator and vocal arranger for Tick, Tick”¦ Boom and music director of the national tour of Rent; choreographer AC Ciulla, who received the 1999 FANY (People’s Choice Awards) for best choreography for Broadway’s hit musical, Footloose; scenic designer Ted LeFevre, currently the associate designer for Elton John and Tim Rice’s Aida; and Emmy Award winner Rob "Cubby" Colby, who sound designed The Grammy Awards and the world tours of Ricky Martin, Janet Jackson, Phil Collins and Prince.

"I am very excited to have this opportunity to work with such a talented group of people," says Porter. "We all feel that Stevie Wonder is a prophet and we are humbled and honored to be a part of a momentous project."

Signed, Sealed, Delivered celebrates the music of Stevie Wonder and is set for a world premiere in Las Vegas before debuting in London and New York within the next two years. Chaka Khan is set to star as the guest headliner. The show will feature visiting guest headliners averaging four to six weeks. Signed, Sealed, Delivered will be presented concert-style with a cast of eight Broadway-caliber performers and a ten-piece live band.

Performances are scheduled to start on Saturday, May 25. Regular performances are tentatively scheduled for June 3 with one show at 8 p.m. nightly, Monday through Wednesday, and Friday, and two shows nightly at 8 and 10 p.m., Thursday and Saturday.
