How about a cheap spaghetti dinner, free buffets, free keno, free trips and free tours? We have at least one of each to present this week.

A complete spaghetti and meatballs special is being served 24 hours a day at the Fireside Café for $1.99 at Silverton through the month of June. We’ve heard several good reports about this one!

Did you know that free Feast Buffets are available at Station Casinos for all firemen, police, nurses, E.M.T. workers, medical technicians, teachers and veterans on the third Tuesday of every month? It’s true! If you’re employed in one of the areas listed, you can enjoy a free breakfast, lunch or dinner buffet by showing proper identification at the buffet of your choice. The next scheduled date is June 18. Participating Stations include Palace, Boulder, Texas, Sunset and Green Valley Ranch.

Free keno, you ask? Again, it’s true! You can play FREENO at the Gold Coast. Simply register your favorite six keno numbers one time only and you’re in. Then anytime you visit the Gold Coast just watch the keno boards for your six numbers to appear. If they show up, you win $100, or if it happens between hours of 7 and 8 (either a.m. or p.m.,) you win $500! Six out of six? Long-shot, you say? Probably true. Nobody ever said free is easy, but FREENO is free!

A free trip? Yes! Royal Crown Resort Travel Planners offer free day trips to Laughlin and Hoover Dam five days a week beginning pick-ups at 7 a.m., from Tuesdays through Saturdays. Tour includes hotel pick-up and return, round-trip bus transportation, a brief Hoover Dam photo stop and a free buffet lunch at the Edgewater or Flamingo hotel in Laughlin. Participants must be 21 or older. Call (702) 384-7725 for more information or to book a tour.

Sometimes locals as well as tourists forget about some of the great free stuff available to us here in Las Vegas. Like the free Chocolate Factory and Botanical Cactus Garden Tour at Ethel M. Chocolates. You can take the free self-guided factory and garden tour daily from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. It takes about an hour to view everything, but you can spend as long as you like. They also have a gift shop and give out free chocolate samples, too! For more information or directions, call 1-888-627-0990.

A final note this week. Did you know that kids are always free to attend Steve Wyrick’s "Magic to the Extreme" show at the Sahara, when accompanied by a paid adult? Same for Charo’s new "Bravo" show. That’s a nice offer! For more information about Sahara shows and reservations, call (702) 737-2515.

Until next week”¦Eat well, play well, stay well!
