Jeffrey Rodefer, an attorney who formerly was affiliated with several state agencies, has joined Boyd Gaming Corporation (BYD) as corporate compliance officer and associate general counsel.

He spent 13 years with the Nevada’s attorney general’s office, representing at different times the Nevada Gaming Control Board, Nevada Gaming Commission, Nevada Department of Taxation, Nevada Tax Commission, State Board of Equalization and the Nevada Department of Transportation.

Rodefer received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada Reno and his law degree from Willamette University College of Law in Oregon.

Global Entertainment Holdings/Equities Inc. (GAMM) has strengthened its executive team by naming Richard Orcutt as sales director of its subsidiary Interactive Gaming & Wagering.

Three directors of International Thunderbird Gaming Corporation, who had offered their resignations to comply with a request from dissident stockholders, have withdrawn the offer and will remain in their positions. They are Jack R. Mitchell, Albert W. Atallah, and Dave Michelson.
