Ameristar names corporate F&B director

Ameristar Casinos Inc. has named Mike “Bear” Hamilton as its corporate director of food and beverage. Hamilton is based at the company’s Kansas City, Mo., facility. Prior to joining Ameristar, Hamilton spent 16 years with the Pointe Hilton Resorts.
The Food & Beverage Directors Association of Nevada has named its officers for the 2002-2003 season. They are: Ken Johnson, The Four Queens, chairman; Shannon Buckner, Main Street Station, vice chairman; Richard Beers, Diamond Catering and Events, secretary, and David Williamson, Five Star Restaurants, treasurer.
A court appeal by former Caesars A.C. executive Gary DeBartolomeo to restore his gaming license and to permit him to receive a $750,000 severance package was rejected last week. His license and the severance package had been withdrawn by a ruling of the Casino Control Commission because of alleged gambling activities. The judges strongly supported the commission decision. 
Las Vegas-based i2corp, parent of Home Gambling Network, reported that its CEO deedee Molnick had been granted maternity leave.
Patrick Kehoe, a former legal aid to N.Y. Gov. George Pataki, has been named vice president and general counsel for the N.Y. Racing Association. Also, NYRA said it had named Cathy Marino to the post of vice president of customer services. She has been with NYRA since 1973.
Former Illinois Gov. Jim Edgar has been named to the board of directors of Inc. (UBET).
Ainsworth Game Technology Ltd of Australia has announced the appointment of Peter James as its new CEO. James previously was managing director of Spherion, a computer services company.
