Excitement is mounting at both Fiestas as the possibility of another Grande Bingo Progressive winner nears.

The Grande Bingo Progressive Jackpot began in March and can be played on both sides of town, at Fiesta Henderson and Fiesta Rancho. The jackpot starts at $25,000 and 46 numbers.

It is played the first game of all eight daily bingo sessions, held on the odd hours beginning at 9 a.m. and running until 11 p.m. The progressive only costs $1 per entry. There is also a $400 consolation prize awarded at every session whenever a jackpot is not hit, so the Fiesta pays out a daily minimum of $3,200.

Fiesta Grande Bingo has paid out since March 25 more than $240,747!

Patricia Luhrssen won $30,121 in May and became the second Grande Bingo Progressive Jackpot winner since Fiesta launched its Grande Bingo Progressive.

Patricia did it at Fiesta Henderson in only 46 numbers. A regular in Fiesta’s Bingo Room, Patricia plays bingo at Fiesta at least six days a week and usually buys four to five Grande Bingo games when she plays. On the day she won, she got into line and "had a feeling." She switched to the other window to purchase her winning card.

Bria Whittington won the first Grande Bingo progressive of $32,198 on April 21, also at Fiesta Henderson. After paying some bills, Bria said she used some of her winnings for a Puerto Vallarta vacation trip, and a swing set for her grandchildren.

The current progressive jackpot is over $33,000 and 52 numbers (at press time).
