Innovative Gaming Corporation of America (IGCA) has added another responsibility to President and Chief Financial Officer Laus M. Abdo. He has been appointed CEO, replacing outgoing interim CEO Tom Foley.

Abdo also will take a seat on the company’s board of directors.

A former Wall Street executive with several years of service with Paine Webber and Smith Barney, Abdo is recognized for his turn-around expertise. He joined the company in September, 2001.

On another matter, IGCA said another of its directors, Tibor Vertes, has withdrawn his name from election to the board of directors. He said he wanted to avoid any indication that he was asserting control over the company prior to receipt of shareholder and gaming approvals for the proposed merger of GET USA Inc. and IGCA.

Robert D. Repass, former managing partner in the Austin, Texas, office of PriceWaterhouseCoopers, has been appointed to the board of directors of Multimedia Games Inc (MGAM).

Two new directors have been elected to the board of directors for International Thunderbird Gaming Corporation. They are Salomon Guggenheim of Zurich, Switzerland, and Jean Duval of Quebec, Canada.
