Ohio Gov. Bob Taft inadvertently promoted a celebrity golf event held at an Indiana casino.
The Cincinnati Enquirer reported that the mistake came six weeks after Taft ordered travel brochures promoting Indiana casinos pulled from tourism kiosks run by the Ohio Department of Transportation.
"Needless to say there are some red faces around here," Taft spokeswoman Mary Anne Sharkey told the Cleveland Plain Dealer last week. "It was not his intention to promote casinos in Indiana or anywhere else."
Sharkey did note that the event did benefit an Ohio charity.
