Dave Pemberton, race and sports director at the Rio, said last week that Harrah’s released an NFL parlay card.
Well, that’s all we had to hear. Phones are ringing off the hook. The more football information that comes to our attention, the happier we are.
The Rio and Harrah’s is offering the Over/Under NFL win totals as a parlay. If you hit 4-of-4, the payout is 12-for-1. Players can choose up to 10 teams. The perfect 10 payoff would be 720-for-1, with the perfect 10 grand prize at 720-for-1.
The minimum play is $2 and there are no ties. All teams are listed in halves, meaning that wins are listed at 8½, 7½, 9½, 11½, etc.
The inside scoop is that Kirk Johnson will take the WBA heavyweight title from John Ruiz this Saturday night at Mandalay Bay. Johnson opened as a —300 favorite.
