It’s sick. It’s funny. It’s Boo! It’s the new late-night show in the Cabaret Theater at New York-New York, which combines scary skits, improvisation and humor. It’s a fresh addition to the entertainment scene, playing at 10 p.m., Monday-Thursday, at 10:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, starting this Thursday.
Part comedy, part improvisation and part vaudeville, Boo! Showcases the storytelling and melodramatic skills of five performers from the Los Angeles Theatresports troupe. Accented with props and music, the show weaves together a collection of short sketches and songs into 70 minutes of spine-tingling fun among a set of gravestones and coffins.
According to Producer Martin Bergman, "I’ve always felt that late-night productions and scary go together. The Cabaret Theatre provides the perfect venue to offer a lighthearted and unique alternative to Las Vegas’ entertainment options."
Tickets are $29.95, and for a limited time, the cost also includes a heart-pounding ride on the Manhattan Express roller coaster that can be redeemed after the show or at a later time. For more information or to order tickets call the box office at 740-6815.
