The return of Binion’s coffee shop!

This week we have another plethora of dining delights and deals to please the cheap-lovers palate as well as the wallet. Try these "new finds" on for size. You’ll like the fit!

Castaways: Now offering a new Teriyaki Buffet that includes fresh broiled steaks cooked to order every Saturday from 4:30-9 p.m. for $12.95 per person. The buffet also features teriyaki beef and chicken, shish kabobs and Aloha-Hawaiian specialty items.

The Lift: A friendly neighborhood restaurant and bar on Valley View, between Sahara and Spring Mountain, serves a Porterhouse Steak Dinner special all day, every day for $4.95. Dinner includes a salad, garlic bread and baked potato.

Gold Coast: Arriva is a nice new upscale Italian and seafood restaurant located in the northwest corner of the casino near the buffet. The cool deal is that entrees like spaghetti and meatballs start as low as $6.95! Nice! Another great spot to dine at the Gold Coast is the new Ping Pang Pong Asian restaurant.

Binion’s Horseshoe: The old downstairs coffee shop reopened a couple months back. The famous late-night steak dinner isn’t as cheap as it once was, but still a great deal at $4.99. The 10-oz. NY strip steak special is served as a complete dinner with salad and potato from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. nightly.

Sunset Station: Watch for a new Hooters coming soon. Not necessarily cheap, (although they usually run some specials on their great wings!) but too fun not to mention it here!

Arizona Charlie’s West: The long-running 24 hour Sourdough Café $2.49 steak and eggs special, has seen its first price hike in years. It’s now $2.99 or $2.79 for the ham and eggs. It’s still a steal, but if you want to save the change, the deal is still only $2.49 at the Arizona Charlie’s East (Boulder Highway,) location. Go figure!

The Palms: From 5-11 p.m. nightly, you can cash in on the summer specials in the Sunrise Café coffee shop. Take your choice of spaghetti and meatballs, fettuccini Alfredo or a plate of lip-smackin’ BBQ ribs for $5.95. Such a deal!

Wildfire Casino: The new local’s hangout is promoting an 18-oz. porterhouse complete steak dinner for $4.99. Doesn’t get much better than this!

The Plaza: For a cheap night out try the new Comedy Zone (opening Aug. 14). Tickets priced at $9.95 are one of the lowest priced comedy shows in town! Showtimes are 8 p.m. every Tuesday through Sunday, featuring national touring comedians. Hope this works for them. We’d all like to see more entertainment downtown!

Until next week”¦ "Eat well, play well, stay well."
