Al Green serenades Paris

Al Green will be making an appearance in Le Theatre des Arts at Paris Las Vegas on Saturday and Sunday. Green is most recently known for his guest appearance on the Fox television show Ally McBeal. He has also had his music in movies such as Pulp Fiction, The Truth about Cats and Dogs, and Knotting Hill. Green has earned nine Grammy Awards throughout his 35-year career. He has also put his life’s story on paper in his 2000 auto biography, "Take me to the river."

Also this weekend, Frankie Avalon and guest Steve Rossi will be back at the Suncoast for 7:30 p.m. concerts. Avalon has been a teen idol since the late 1950s, and has starred in movies such as Beach Party, Muscle Beach and Beach Blanket Bingo. Steve Rossi, formerly of the comedy duo of "Allen and Rossi," has appeared in the Ed Sullivan Show and Howard Stern Show.

At The Orleans, Gordon Lightfoot returns Thursday through Sunday.
