Deals, bargains and specials, Oh my!

Lots of new deals, bargains and cheap stuff to share this week. We’ll take a look at some new specials that are just too good to pass up!

Jerry’s Nugget has been running a monthly special meal deal for the past several months. For the month of September, they will offer a choice of a seafood or salsa special. The Canal Street Café dinner special, available through September 30, features your choice of either two enchiladas or a Salmon fillet, each for only $5.49. The Enchilada special includes rice, beans, salsa and guacamole, plus you get to choose either two beef or two cheese enchiladas or one of each. The salmon fillet comes grilled or pan fried with a choice of soup or salad, a choice of whipped or baked potato, French fries or rice, along with the choice of either garlic or French bread. The Seafood or Salsa Special will be available Sunday through Thursday, from 4 p.m. to midnight, throughout the month of September.

Cash your paycheck at the Wildfire Casino, on Rancho Drive across from Texas Station, and receive two complimentary drinks, a free slice of pizza and a chance to double your paycheck up to $500. Complete rules and details are posted at the casino cage.

Both of the Fiesta Hotel-Casino’s are still serving the 99-cent Strawberry Shortcakes in the Baja Beach Café. The popular summer food fare is available daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. They also serve 99-cent breakfast specials daily too.

Did you know that Joker’s Wild in Henderson, a Boyd Gaming owned casino, located at 920 N. Boulder Highway, serves a complete 8-ounce filet mignon dinner special in the coffee shop for $7.95? Try it anytime you like. It’s available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

How about $5 haircuts and $4 movies? It’s true. For a $5 men’s haircut try Hair $5 West, located at 6714 West Cheyenne at the intersection of Rainbow in the plaza behind 7-11.
