By GT Staff | Even though server-based gaming is probably two years away, Atlantis Internet Group Corporation offers a preview of the future with its new "Jukebox Slot," which features slot games, music and electronic table games all in one machine.
The patent-pending Jukebox Slot lets players listen to their favorite music while playing slots, blackjack, poker, craps, roulette and other popular table games. They also feature real-time player tracking and bonuses, like a traditional slot, but players get points for playing all casino games, not just slots.
Gaming jurisdictions are now approving electronic table games throughout the U.S. market. States with just slots can add electronic table game variety for their customers. Atlantis Internet Groups server-based gaming system for Jukebox Slots has been tested and approved by Gaming Associates for international gaming markets and the company is currently seeking approval for the United States by late 2008.
"We call it A Casino In A Casino and no, this will not take the place of dealers, but it offers a new and refreshing product for players and casino owners worldwide," states Donald L. Bailey, CEO of Atlantis Internet Group.
The company has already signed a deal that will feature legendary Motown greats in the first version of Jukebox Slots. The company is also a partner in the redevelopment of the historic Moulin Rouge Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and plans to feature a commemorative version of Jukebox Slots at the new casino.
The Moulin Rouge development plan recently received a unanimous approval by the City of Las Vegas Planning Commission.
