Seminoles use Louisville to prepare for Canes

   For games played Sept. 26-30

Florida St. (-pts) at Louisville: No reason to believe the Seminoles won’t put forth another top effort. They get Clemson next, then the big one with Miami for No. 1.

Florida (-pts) vs Kentucky: Florida has owned Kentucky over the past 10 years and is still under the gun with new coach Zook. Kentucky is much improved but will be overwhelmed by the sellout crowd.

LSU (-pts) vs Mississippi: Bayou boys on a mission since Virginia Tech. Should put Miss St. away early.

Virginia even at Wake Forest: This looks like a very good bet as improving Virginia will take the measure of a very average Wake team. Bet it and forget it!

Hawaii (-pts) against SMU: Blow out special here as the Rainbows take no prisoners on their island. The 9.05 p.m. start can get you, even if your stuck.

Troy St. (+pts) at Missouri: Love this matchup as Troy can play with anyone and be competitive, plus Mizzou gets the Sooners next week. Great play here!

If you are looking for a few more plays, 10-teamers and teasers here are a few more games that I am interested in: West Virginia, So Miss, Nebraska (with two weeks off), Auburn, Purdue, Louisiana Tech.

Browns (+pts) at Steelers: So-called Steel Curtain probably needed a week off to try and figure out how to get a win. Week off won’t help as Kordell still at QB. Take the points as Cleveland “D” will take charge here.

Eagles (-pts) vs Texans: Give the two TDs and bet UNDER as Texans may not score.

Also: Cards (+pts) vs NY Giants, Chargers (+pts) vs New England, Seahawks (even) over Vikings on ESPN.

Broncos and UNDER at Ravens: Week off won’t help hapless Ravens. Broncos’ balanced attack will be too much for a team that can’t score.
