W.Virginia (pk) vs Maryland: WVU definitely on upgrade, improving with every game. Laying in wait to put the finishing touches on the Maryland season. What a difference a year makes. Looking for top effort here by the Mountaineers.
Iowa (-pts) vs Purdue: Hawkeyes cannot afford to make any mistakes in this one. No blown leads here. Iowa by two TD’s.
Tex Tech (+pts) at Tex A&M: My go-against team this season. Aggies have not let me down as they continue their low scoring ways.
Notre Dame (-pts) vs Stanford: The Cardinal can score but their defense will even make the Irish “O” look powerful. Looks like money in the bank here. ND and OVER.
TCU (-pts) against Houston: Frogs, with top bowl on their mind, can ill afford to overlook these guys. Blow out time here.
Oregon St. (-pts) vs UCLA: Love this game. Oregon State almost unbeatable at home will have this game covered before the Bruins know what hit them. One of my key games of the week.
Hawaii (+pts) at Boise St.: Boise real tough on the blue turf, but the Rainbows playing inspired football. UH wants to go bowling very much. A victory here could be the icing on the cake.
Arizona St. (-pts) vs UNC: Get even game here if you happen to be stuck, State just the better team here both sides of the ball, that’s my opinion and you know about opinions.
UConn (+pts) at Miami FL: UConn playing the biggest game in school history. Hurricanes get Florida St. next week so this sandwich job looks like one of the best plays.
UL-Lafayette (+pts) at LSU: La La getting a bunch of points from the Tigers, who face Florida next. Intensity level not at its usual peak here. Lafayette, with extra week to get ready, gets the money.
Sunday, Oct. 6
Titans (-pts) vs Redskins: Tennessee continues Washington’s slide.
Falcons (pk or -pts) vs Bucs: Much improved Atlanta gets big home victory as the big defense keeps this game UNDER the total.
Browns (-pts) vs Ravens: If this game doesn’t put you to sleep, nothing will. Dawg boys should be able to control things in the Pound. ESPN and national audience all point to Cleveland win.
Monday, Oct. 7
Bears (-pts) vs Packers: This should be a good one to watch. Need the breaks to win this one but really like home field here. Bears win in a big time battle.
