   Thursday, October 10:

BC (+pts/UNDER) vs Virginia: Tech. Boston College effort against Miami was better than it looked. The Eagles will be prepared for top effort. This should be a real defensive battle. Big game for both teams and a great one for the Thursday ESPN audience.

   Saturday, Oct. 12:

Florida St (+pts) at Miami.: I will probably go broke, but I just love this spot. State will rain on the Hurricanes parade to the national championship. $$$.

Michigan (-pts) vs Penn St.: Wolverines have owned State of late and things won’t change here. Lay the short number and get the cash.

San Jose St (+28) at Ohio St.: The Buckeyes have had trouble covering these big numbers. This will be no exception, especially with Wisconsin next week. Huge revenge game as Wisky beat the Bucks in Columbus last year 20-17. No interest in blowout here. Take the big spread and get the cash.

Iowa St. (-pts) vs Texas Tech: No stopping the Cyclones here as schedule is really in their favor. This will be Tech’s third straight road game.

Notre Dame (-pts) vs Pittsburgh: Irish superior “D” and Pitt’s lack of offense all point to Irish by two TD’s.

Oklahoma (+pts) vs Texas: Huge game here for both teams, but Sooners have proven they can win under extreme pressure. Love the points in a must see game.

   Sunday, Oct. 13:

Patriots (-pts) vs Packers: Pats just unbeatable at home and Green Bay’s offense just not firing on all cylinders. Lay the points in what looks to be an easy victory.

Browns (+pts) at Bucs: Cleveland plays its heart out every week. No reason to think different here. Dawg boys due for a break their way.

Steelers (-pts) at Bengals: Pitt takes out frustration on overmatched Cincy.

Also: Redskins (+pts) vs Saints; Dolphins (+pts) at Broncos.

   Monday, Oct. 14:

   Seahawks (+pts) against 49ers.
